Coding a website definately has its benefits. The biggest benefit is that the flexibility is UNLIMITED. All typical web design software has some sort of nook or cranny where you just can't quite get a piece of text or an image into. With coding, you can work your way around the problem, or just not have a problem altogether. ALSO most web designing tools lack the ability to add dynamic features and scripts, such as forums or chat rooms. Some probably let you make some form of these scripts, but you need to use advanced programming to get the really flashy stuff. Typing up the code is more time consuming than using a web builder, but the rewards can be personal as well as technical. Knowing you crafted the lanaguage to construct your entire website can be self-satisfactory. If problems happen to your site, you will immediately know where to go and what you need to fix. This entire website is made of simple HTML If you decided you'd like to make your website with coding but don't know a thing about it, I made a simple tutorial here.
